Today the OHP team submitted a formal application to the Parish of St Helier (POSH) so that the necessary surveys of Westmount Road can continue. A presentation of the intended survey works was shared with POSH officials , with a further presentations planned for the St Helier Constable and Deputies on Wednesday 24 March.

The results of the surveys, which will include topographical, ecological and vehicle movement studies, will help inform the design for preferred access route for Jersey’s new hospital at Overdale. Once the design for the road has been completed, it will be brought to a Parish of St Helier Assembly, in accordance with the recent Parish Requête decision.
