Constructing a first-class hospital for Jersey

OHP supports launch of NAWIC Jersey

Community | News

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) exists in many countries including the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, and now Jersey!

NAWIC Jersey is a community based, non-profit organisation aimed at providing a support network and improving the exposure and profile of women working in Jersey's construction industry. It aims to provide a networking platform for members to meet, support each other, facilitate self-development through CPD opportunities; and to generally encourage more women to join the construction industry. NAWIC Jersey is focused on supporting women within the construction industry, and welcomes everyone, male and female to get involved and attend its events.

The ROK FCC JV team attended the event to support women in construction, alongside our OHP colleagues and social value partners from Government of Jersey, Mace, Skills Jersey, Hautlieu School and Les Quennevais School.

ROK Limited was one of the sponsors of the event - its three employees volunteer as NAWIC Jersey committee members.
