Constructing a world-class hospital for Jersey

Built Environment Apprenticeship Programme

The Government of Jersey (GOJ) is building a new hospital. This £550 million investment in the Island will provide a once in a lifetime opportunity for Islanders to benefit from a high functioning and future fit health care facility, as well as many opportunities for local people to learn, develop and grow as a result of this large scale development.

The GOJ is committed to linking opportunities presented by this project into the needs of the local community. A core element of designing and building the hospital will be to support young people to enter the world of work. To help them gain new skills, develop a defined career path, and give them access to a structured apprenticeship framework that will ultimately lead to a positive, sustainable future.
